Lasdon Park, Arboretum & Veterans Memorial at 2610 New York 35, Katonah, New York.

Lasdon Park is a relatively new Westchester County Park. It is only been open for about a year as of May of 2018... There is a pond, woodlands, rivers, wetlands, four marked trails, paved and unpaved footpaths as well as plantings of lilacs magnolia's and azaleas, to mention a few. A lot of the Magnolias were hybrid trees where the flowers were yellow but there were also the traditional pink Magnolias.

There is also a Grove of chestnut trees and dogwoods as well as a Memorial Garden and a Chinese friendship Pavilion and cultural Garden with a pond.

Some of the plantings looked relatively young as if they had been put in after Westchester County purchase the property.

Entrance to the park is free. There is an entrance fee to the small Conservatory.
